Here is a gentle reminder for all MRCEM OSCE candidates. The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) will soon close the booking window for the MRCEM OSCE exam, which is scheduled to take place in Chennai this March.
As per the RCEM calendar published on their official website, the booking window for the MRCEM OSCE March 2025 exam opened on 7th January and will close on 13th January. The exam is scheduled to be conducted between 24th and 28th March 2025. The results will be announced on 14th May 2025.
The application process begins at 10:00 AM on the opening date and will close at 5:00 PM (UK time) on the final date. The RCEM will not accept late applications. So, make sure you complete your booking within the given timeframe.
MRCEM OSCE eligibility criteria
To apply for the MRCEM OSCE exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria. The applicants must:
- Hold a Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ) accepted by the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Have current full medical registration with a valid license to practice.
- Possess six months of full-time equivalent (FTE) Emergency Medicine experience above Foundation training or its equivalent (post-full registration experience).
- Have successfully passed both the MRCEM Primary and MRCEM SBA exams.
Ensure you fulfil all these requirements before booking your exam slot. Additionally, for those planning to take the MRCEM OSCE later this year, there is another opportunity in July 2025 in Hyderabad. The booking window for the July exam will open on 16th April and close on 23rd April 2025.
