The Royal College of Emergency Medicine has introduced updated eligibility requirements for MRCEM Intermediate exams from 2025 onwards.
If you are an MRCEM SBA exam applicant, ensure you hold a primary medical qualification accepted by the General Medical Council (GMC). You must have full medical registration with a license to practice and have 2 years of medical experience post-primary medical degree level qualification. All MRCEM Intermediate aspirants must have cleared the entry-level exam: MRCEM Primary.
In 2025, the MRCEM SBA exam will be conducted twice: January and September. Candidates can choose from various test centers worldwide to sit for the exam.
For the MRCEM Intermediate January 2025 exam, candidates can start their application from November 04, 2024, onwards. The application window will be open for only one week and will close on November 11, 2024.
