The Royal College of Emergency Medicine has officially released the results of the MRCEM SBA Diet 1 exam for 2025. The exam was conducted on 28th January 2025 at test centres worldwide. Staying true to its tradition of excellence, StudyMRCEM has once again achieved an impressive pass rate, with our students showcasing outstanding performance in the exam.
How to check your results
RCEM will notify candidates via email once results are available. Candidates need to log in to their college website accounts to access and download their result letters. Please note that RCEM does not share the results directly by phone or email.
Within one week of the results release, candidates will receive a feedback letter detailing their performance. This includes their score, exam pass mark and cohort average, which is the average score of all candidates who took the exam.
About MRCEM SBA
The MRCEM SBA is the second hurdle in the journey towards achieving the membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. It is a theoretical exam that tests a candidate’s understanding of the wide range of conditions and presentations that may be encountered in the emergency departments.
The exam consists of 180 Single Best Answer (SBA) questions, divided into two papers with 90 questions each. The total duration of the exam is four hours (Two hours per paper). There will be a one-hour break in between the papers.
