The Royal College of Emergency Medicine has announced the deadline for MRCEM OSCE June 2023 examination. The candidates can confirm their bookings till 31 March 2023 before RCEM close the booking window by 5.00pm on the closing date.

MRCEM OSCE Exam syllabus and pattern

This OSCE examination analyzes the clinical and communicational abilities of the aspirants. The syllabus covers everything from obtaining a patient’s medical history, doing an examination, communicating, making decisions, and handling difficult circumstances including resuscitation scenarios utilizing medium fidelity simulation.

The examination consists of 16 eight-minute stations, with one minute reading time between stations. Two rest stations are also there in this examination. Domain -based marking is used to assess the examination.

The cut-off score for this exam is determined using the borderline regression method, +1 Standard Error Measurement is added to create the pass mark.
