MRCEM SBA is the second theory exam in the MRCEM journey. It tests your knowledge of the full range of conditions and presentations that may be encountered in the emergency department.

MRCEM SBA September 2025 exam: Eligibility
In order to apply for the MRCEM SBA 2025 exam, candidates must meet some eligibility criteria.
- The applicants must hold a Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ) accepted by the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Must have a current full medical registration with a license to practice.
- Have two years of post-degree medical experience (including internship or house jobs)
- Must have cleared the MRCEM Primary exam.
