As per the new update published by RCEM, candidates can book their slots until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. The booking already started on November 1st, and there will be a short span of one week’s time for candidates to confirm their seats. Remember, late applications will not be accepted by RCEM. Candidates should take necessary steps to avoid last-minute booking. The exam is scheduled to be held on 08 February 2024.

All you need to know about MRCEM SBA exam

The MRCEM SBA examination is the second step in your journey towards coveted RCEM Membership. MRCEM SBA is a written examination primarily aimed to test candidates’ knowledge in the field of Emergency medicine. The exam primarily consists of Single Best Answer (SBA) questions, encompassing two sections: multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and extended matching questions (EMQs).

Are you eligible to apply?

To apply for the MRCEM SBA examination, you need to meet the following eligibility requirements. Check your eligibility before starting your application.

• Aspirants with a medical qualification approved by the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Aspirants who have achieved a suggested IELTS score of at least level 7.
• For the MRCEM Intermediate, candidates must successfully pass the Primary examination.
