Once your application is approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
After RCEM sends you the confirmation email, your data will be automatically shared with Pearson VUE. Pearson VUE will create an account for you, and you’ll receive an email from Pearson VUE regarding the exam booking. You will receive two emails: one with a user ID and the other with a temporary password. Once you have received these emails, visit the RCEM page on Pearson VUE.
Click “Sign-in” on the RCEM exam page on the Pearson VUE webpage. Use the user ID and password you received from Pearson VUE. After signing in with the temporary password, you’ll be asked to change your password and set up three security challenge options. Follow the prompts to complete this process. Afterward, you can visit the RCEM page on Pearson VUE again and sign in with your new password.
If you’ve lost the email that RCEM sent to you, don’t worry. You have the option to retrieve your data. Click on “Forgot username or password.” You can retrieve your data by providing your first name, last name, and email address, or by using your College ID and email address.
You will be asked to choose where you want to take the exam: at a local test center or at home or in your office. If you choose a local test center, on the next page, you’ll need to enter the address where you want to take the exam. It’s not mandatory to appear for the exam in your own home country; you can take the exam from any country. After entering the address, you’ll receive a list of available Pearson VUE testing locations. You can select up to three centers and check for slot availability.
Available slot dates will be marked in blue. If the dates are grey, it means that no testing slots are open at that center. In case slots are not available, choose another center or check again later. If none of the three centers you chose have available dates, try entering a different area address and try again.
Once you find a suitable center, choose a date and a available time slot. You can only choose from the available timings on this page. This will take you to a details page with information about the exam you are booking, along with testing center details and the chosen date and time. Review the information and click “Confirm.
